Getting the Word Out

One-Mile Campaigns

Political Affairs Team member Jessica Alvarado completed her One-Mile Campaign in Bay Shore, NY: “I went to my favorite childhood park, where all my friends and I grew up. It has an indoor pool, so a lot of families go there on the weekends to swim. I went around the entire park giving out printed fliers to any passerby I saw […]. I spoke to some parents and even some kids who looked to be in middle school. “

Content Team member Elizabeth Yusuff put together this flier noting different ways to help the cause.

PR/Marketing Team member Alina Silvana Meletta hung up fliers throughout the North Park neighborhood of San Diego. Fliers were accompanied by chalk art on sidewalks.
